Cherae Halley

Cherae Halley is an applied theatre practitioner and will be using a methodology called Playback Theatre as a tool for research and to build community among migrants and nationals in Johannesburg. She will host several performances by the Drama for Life Playback Theatre in spaces occupied by migrants across Johannesburg. The performances will serve both as an inquiry research tool (capturing untold narratives) as well as a social cohesion tool (allowing the audience members to share their stories and connect with one another in witnessing each story).
