Lynn Kumire (current since 2017, MA by Research Report, in Migration and Displacement)

Born on the second of September 1991 in Karoi, Lynn is the middle child in her family. She attended primary school in Hurungwe and High School in Chiredzi. She specialised in Arts in her High School and she loved Literature. In 2010, she enrolled at the University of Zimbabwe for her Bachelors in Political Science which she finished in 2013 with an Upper Second class.She has taught and tutored at a number of schools, both public and private.Lynn has also volunteered (during her spare time) at a few organisations because she believes in making a difference in people’s lives.
She Holds a Bachelor of Arts in Migration and Displacement and currently enrolled for her Masters in Migration and Displacement Studies at the University of Witswatersrand.
Her research interest is health related. Lynn is concerned about health rights, the access to affordable health care, implications associated with the failure to access health linked to vulnerable groups as well. She is interested also in policy, but specifically, health policies used to address the health needs of migrants.
